MT Spaces Interior Design considers your privacy very important. We will therefore process and use your data in a secure manner, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this privacy statement, we explain what data we collect from you when you use our website, and for what reason. You can also read in this statement what your rights are in relation to this processing.
Article 1 — Who we are
MT Spaces Interior Design (hereinafter referred to as “MT Spaces” or “our company”) is a privately owned sole-proprietorship business located in (2014 CM) Haarlem at Lorentzkade 428. We are listed in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 90819454. We are the controller of your personal data.
Article 2 — What data do we use?
Here you can find an overview of the data we process about you, why we do this, what legal basis we have for processing this data, and how long we will retain it.
Client and project data. We process your name, correspondence address, project address, email address, phone number, and any other information necessary to provide our interior design and colour consultancy services. We use this data for the duration of our professional agreement with you. We retain this data for up to 7 years after the conclusion of our agreement, in accordance with Dutch tax retention requirements.
Financial and invoicing data. For billing and financial administration, we process your name, any associated company name and Chamber of Commerce or VAT number, invoice address, email address, payment information, and outstanding balance. Without this information we cannot process your payment. We are legally required by the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst) to retain this data for 7 years. After this period, we will delete or anonymise your data in the manner applicable to how it has been stored.
Complaint handling. In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about our service, we will process your name, contact details, project details, and the content of and communication regarding the complaint in order to reach the best possible resolution. We will delete complaint-related data 1 year after settlement.
Direct marketing. We do not currently send newsletters or carry out direct marketing activities. Should we do so in the future, we will only use your name and email address for this purpose if you have given your explicit consent. You will always be able to withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time.
Website and analytics. To enable and optimise this website, we use analytics services that make use of cookies. You can read more about the cookies we use and what personal data is processed with them in our Cookie Statement below.
Contact form. When you contact us via the website, we ask for your name, email address, and phone number. By submitting the contact form, this data becomes visible to us. We delete contact form data as soon as the enquiry is resolved, unless it results in a professional agreement.
Article 3 — How do we obtain this data?
We obtained the above information from you as a client, contact person, or website visitor because you provided this data to us directly. We make every effort to ensure that data about minors is only collected with parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data from a minor without such consent, please contact us.
Article 4 — What rights do you have regarding this data?
The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights regarding the personal data you allow us to process.

Access — You may request to see the data we hold about you at any time.

Rectification — If you wish to have your data corrected, supplemented, or updated, you can submit a request to that effect.

Erasure — You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Restriction — You may request that we restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances.

Objection — You can object to the processing of your data, in particular where we process it on the basis of legitimate interest.

Data portability — Should you wish to transfer your data to another provider, we will provide your data in a structured and commonly used format that can be accessed by standard digital systems.

Withdrawal — Where we have processed data on the basis of your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
To exercise any of your rights, please send a request to hello@mtspaces.nl, accompanied by a copy of your ID (with BSN and passport photo masked). We will respond to your request as soon as possible and within the timeframe required by law. If we are unable to fulfil your request, we will explain why.
Article 5 — Who may receive your data?
We will not disclose your data to third parties unless it is necessary for the conduct of our business or required by law. Your data may be transferred to processors for the execution of the agreement (for example, accounting software or our website platform). We enter into processor agreements with these third parties to protect your privacy to the greatest extent possible. We will not sell your data to third parties. Where we process your data outside the EEA, we will implement appropriate security measures in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Article 6 — Final Provisions
We recommend reviewing this privacy statement periodically, as we may make changes to the policy.
