About Me
My Journey
Our family’s relocation from Cape Town to the Netherlands in 2014 marked the beginning of an unexpected design journey: what started as a personal renovation project soon revealed a deep appreciation for considered interiors and, ultimately, evolved into creating thoughtful, personalised spaces for others.
A professional qualification in interior design from the National Design Academy of London, followed by a Professional Colour Plan certification from the NIA Academie, provides the formal grounding that sits at the heart of my practice today. An earlier, extensive career in exhibition coordination brings its own discipline that continues to inform how I approach every project: methodically, with close attention to detail, and always with the client's experience at the centre.

My Design Philosophy
I believe great design achieves a balance between form and function. Rooted in minimalism as clarity rather than austerity, my work is defined by clean lines, thoughtful spatial planning, and a warm, understated atmosphere.
I have a particular affinity for compact homes, where precision and creativity are essential. Regardless of size, each project is shaped by the people who live in it - your needs, your style, your story.
My role is to listen carefully, guide thoughtfully, and bring a refined design sensibility that elevates everyday life.
My Approach
With formal training, hands-on experience, and professional affiliations in both the UK (BIID) and the Netherlands (IN), I bring creative vision and practical expertise to every project. Working in English and Dutch, I bridge the gap between international clients and the local market.
Having relocated internationally myself, I understand the challenges - and opportunities - of creating a home in a new country. I founded my Haarlem-based interior design studio to support clients who, like me, have started fresh in a new country and seek a home that reflects who they are, provides a sense of belonging and creates the space to put down new roots.
